Sadequain Foundation, in collaboration with Gallery 21, has launched Surah Rahman calligraphy exhibition titled "Holy Month of Ramazan Exhibition: SADEQUAIN Surah Rahman Calligraphies (Giclée Reproductions)" in the federal capital.

Curated by Sadequain Foundation Director Planning and Promotion Zohaib Ch, the exhibition presents Sadequain's landmark calligraphic masterpieces that transformed the art of calligraphy in Pakistan. Speaking to the media, Zohaib Ch said that the special exhibition celebrates the timeless calligraphic works of Sadequain during the holy month of Ramazan.

Sharing the details, officials said the exhibition is ongoing from February 27 and will conclude on March 25, with visiting hours daily from 12.00pm to 4.00pm, except on Fridays, at Gallery 21, Islamabad.

The collaborative display by Sadequain Foundation and Gallery 21 features high-quality giclée reproductions of Sadequain's celebrated Surah Rahman calligraphies, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the works of the country's greatest artist.

Founder of the SADEQUAIN Foundation Dr Salman Ahmad stated that "Art and literature are the identity of a nation. Sadequain's contribution to the field of arts is enormous, and his role in shaping our national identity is unparalleled. As a nation, we are deeply grateful to him."

Founder of Gallery 21, Dr Farruk Sier, said that it was a proud moment for him to be able to announce that Gallery 21 has dedicated a permanent space to the works of Sadequain in collaboration with the Sadequain Foundation. "This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for students, art lovers and members of civil society to visit, learn and appreciate Sadequain's remarkable contributions to the artistic and cultural identity of our nation," he added.

Publications by Dr Salman Ahmad on Sadequain will also be on display during the exhibition. The exhibition is open to students, researchers, art enthusiasts and the general public.

Established in 2007, SADEQUAIN Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to discovering, preserving, and promoting Sadequain’s art globally. To that end, the Foundation has published 35 books on Sadequain’s life and work, and curated more than 100 seminars and exhibitions around the globe resulting in resurrection of Sadequain from obscurity.

Dr Salman Ahmad is an electrical engineer by profession. He spent more than thirty years working on nuclear missile technology in senior executive positions in the United States and was the founder and president of an electronics communications company for seven years. He founded the SADEQUAIN Foundation in June 2007 to catalog Sadequain’s work and introduce it to the world. He has authored 24 books on Sadequain.
