Houston-Based Saaf Pani Continues to Provide Clean Water to the Needy in Pakistan

Saaf Paani, based in Houston, is a non-profit organization dedicated to a world where everyone has access to clean drinking water and proper sanitation. Its mission is to deliver high-quality water solutions to underserved communities in developing countries, addressing a basic human need that many take for granted.
Founded by Abdul Majid Adam, a 1969 graduate of NED University, Karachi, Saaf Paani designs and engineers safe water systems for water-stressed regions across Pakistan. Currently, it is active in rural Sindh and parts of Karachi, where water salinity levels exceed safe limits (TDS > 1000). To address this, the organization installs Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants that reduce TDS to around 250, making the water safe to drink.
Since its inception in 2019, Saaf Paani has completed over 700 projects and plans to execute 600 more this year. The team conducts water testing via bore wells and recommends tailored, high-tech solutions including RO plants, ultra-filtration systems, solar-powered pumps, and hand pumps.
Saaf Paani is hosting briefing sessions nationwide, with the next event scheduled in the Chicago area on October 18, 2025. Everyone is encouraged to spread the word and support this noble cause. For more information, visit: www.thehealthywater.org.
