In Loving Memory of Tasneem
November 26, 2025 — Two Years Since Her Departure
By Dr A.S. Khan
On this solemn November day,
Two years have quietly slipped away,
Since Tasneem left this earthly shore,
Her gentle light shines evermore.
Unique in ways too vast to name,
Kind and compassionate, never seeking fame,
Her heart embraced the world’s despair,
With tender hands and constant care.
She walked with grace, in thought and deed,
Her manner pure, her soul freed,
An embodiment of love so true,
Her presence blessed all that she knew.
How strange, how poignant, how divine,
She left this world on her birthday’s sign,
A soul so rare, so deeply kind,
Whose pain for others filled her mind.
When floods would rage, when quakes would roar,
She was the first to open the door,
To send relief, to heal, to mend,
Her mercy knew no earthly end.
Her goodness cloaked in quiet ways,
Her secret acts lit countless days,
She lived the Prophet’s (SAW) noble creed:
“To want for others what we need.”
Now hearts still ache, her voice still missed,
By family’s love and friendship’s list,
One wonders why the good depart,
Leaving such voids within the heart.
May Allah SWT grant her peace and light,
A highest station in Jannat-ul-Firdous, pure and bright,
Accept her deeds, her gentle grace,
And bless her soul in His Noori embrace.
Ameen.
