Kamal Zafar New Central Organizer of MQM USA
Virginia : The Nigraan-e-Aala MQM North America, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, has appointed Mr Kamal Zafar, Joint Central Organizer of MQM USA, as the new Central Organizer of MQM USA.
The announcement was made on the last day of the Silver Jubilee Convention of MQM USA in Virginia held from March 13 to 15, 2009. It was also announced that Nadeem Siddiqui from Atlanta and Junaid Fahmi from Chicago, both of whom were members of the Central Organizing Committee, have been appointed Joint Central Organizers of MQM USA.
T he Central Organizing Committee MQM USA has now two more members, Mohammad Zaheer from Houston and Dr. Anwar Ahmed from New York.
Mr. Kamal Zafar holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Technology from the NED University of Engineering, Karachi, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computers Engineering from California State, USA.
He worked as project engineer in Philips and later as installations engineer in Digital Communications in Pakistan. On migration to the US, he worked as project engineer in ACL Technologies , Irvine, California.
In 1987 he started business in retail stores development for grocery and dry cleaning industries. He spent 20 years in the gasoline industry as owner and operator of several gasoline franchises.
